When we had Abby spayed, they sent pain meds home with her - plus they gave her a good dose before leaving the Vet. She thought she was Wonder Woman. She felt really good (if you know what I mean) and had no pain - so the sky was the limit.Once the dose they gave her wore off, she got no more from us. Better she should feel a bit of discomfort and be quiet than to fly like a Wallenda!

Donna, if the stitches are intact I don't think you need to worry. Because of the pain medicine she had, she probably feels like Batman and is SO happy to be home. She may want to check everything out at home before she will settle down and relax. Leave her be under your bed where she feels safe.She will come around when she gets hungry.

She's doing great!!! Still goes under the bed, but has been up on the bed for pets and scritches. Now I don't feel so bad. I thought for sure she was reverting back to her semi-feral state. Whew!!
