Woody's in PA!! See Karen's new thread

I'm taking Woody to the airport this morning. I was up late getting everything ready, got off the phone with Phred and Jennie close to midnight and still had to bathe Woody and get everything ready. Am I ever SLEEPY!

For the love of God I hate this Wichita Falls airport! They are so rude and every time I go it's just a nightmare. Nope, Woody is not going out today even though I called them last night and they said it should be OK to fly him today. It's too cold today. Also, I just noticed the vet forgot to sign his health certificate, so I have to take it up to the vet later today to have them sign it. I couldn't have flown him today anyway because of the missing signature. I called the vet this morning and they were very apologetic. The man at the counter at the airport was rude and made me very upset. When this is all over and done with I will NEVER step foot in that airport again!

It feels like this is just not going to happen

Poor Woody ... "refused" again.

Today's excuse was what I feared - Wichita Falls checked with the AA Weather Profits and
were told the temp in Philly wasn't going above "mid 20s" any time today = "TOO COLD, Sorry".

AND, Leslie just looked at the Health Certificate - and discovered the Vet had never *signed* it!

I just got off the phone with Jenn - we've decided lil Woody will try agin on
Tuesday (AA says temps will get up to 35* in Philly) -
so if there's room on the plane - he ought to get to fly tomorrow.

And Miz KAREN (K9Karen) has agreed to be his pick-up person and Dawg Sitter till
Jenn can arrange a meeting to get him over the weekend.
(Hope the Senior Resident Pooch doesn't mind having a lil house guest for a few days!)

I'll give Leslie all of Karen's info for the revised Health Certificate;
and then all we need is PT Prayers for >>>
* Room on the plane tomorrow
* Warm enough in Philly to Let Woody FLY

As for that rude man - once Woody is safely en route I would suggest you tell him exactly what you think of his customer service skills

Don't give up Leslie, this will happen. All of us PTers are hoping (and many are helping) that this will all go through tomorrow.
I will be hoping very hard that the temps stay up and Woody will be a step closer to his new mommy, Jennie.
