    PT's own Sweep!

Sweep, how handsome you are! I hope I'm in for a LOT of good luck today because you have crossed my path. I hope your mum will post photos of you and Mousecat when she has some time. Happy Cat of the Day to you, sweety!

You and your late brother were abandoned by someone who went to Scotland? Here I'd always heard that the Scots were such good, sensible people. Mom was sorry to hear that your brother had to go to the bridge, as she too lost a kitty at a too-young age.

But now she has me and my brother Don Juan El Dorko, and I'd love to meet my fellow blackie and show you my little bikini! Hope you had a great day!

    Thanks for all the replies

The last owner of Sweep (and Sooty) wasn't Scottish, she just moved up to Scotland from Peterborough......she did come back on a visit to Peterborough and got a telling off from 'Cat Protection'.....she gave a donation and said how sorry she was,but all her curcumstances had changed (excuses) as we know there is no excuse to abandon pets.......

Its Sooty's first anniversary this friday 25th Jan,that he went to 'Rainbow Bridge',so will lite a big candle for him..........yes i was very happy that i knew Sooty,he was such a good patient too, never soiled the house,he took to living in our bath for his last week or so.(luckily we have an ensuite too!!)......slept in a smalll box one end, ate in the middle and did his business down the plug hole end!! we did try and 'dignify' him with a litter tray but he just used to climb in it and eat the litter (we later found out that eating the litter was due to him being low on certain minerals???)

Anyway i still have Sweep who is now 'top cat!!' and fat Mousecat!!

Cats and pets are the best eh? like children!!

Havea nice day EVERYONE >"< >"<

Well, black cats are as wonderful as other cats but:

    They're very hard to photograph!

We're lucky to have a photo of Sweep; most of the time, when you take a picture of a black cat, there's nothing there where a cat should be...

yes it is hard to photogragh a black cat!! especially when they shut their eyes too!!>"<

i manage the 'colourful 'pic off Sweep my pure black cat ,purely cos i placed an old umberella on the lawn one sunny day to give him sun protection, when i saw him invesigate it and lie under it i 'thought!!' wheres that colourful old sun shade!!! i dug it out and stood armed with my camera, and sure as 'eggs are eggs', Sweep came along to 'investigate' and 'claimed it'from my other cat , Mousecat then SNAP got him on film!! >"<
