I know how you feel. Fozzie chewed the buckle off of Gonzo's brand spanking new Rogz harness, when he was a puppy, within 30 seconds.![]()
I feel that leather collars are the best, as far as durability and longevity. Gonzo's rolled leather collar is practically flawless after years.
I'm also paranoid and keep my dogs collars on them all the time just in case something happens. Maybe she would be less likely to chew on a leather studded collar? They are pricey though...

Thank you all for the links. I'll try a leather one I guess.
3mutts, I loved the spiked leather collars that came in nice colors, but I am not going to pay $50 for collar! All of my dogs need them!![]()

Maybe try some Bitter Orange (I believe thats what it's called). It's supposed to have a bitter (duh) taste dogs don't like. It's worth a shot.
You shouldn't have posted that link! Now I'm going to have to save up...Originally Posted by Danegirl2208

Go for Lupine. If it's chewed you can get it replaced for free.
I'd go with nylon Lupine collars as well. That way if Henna does chew them, they'll be replaced for free. I'd also invest in some bitter apple (I find it works better than the citrus ones like the orange, or lime available) and spray it on the collars - that might deter her. You definitely need to work on getting her to stop grabbing the other dogs' collars somehow as that behaviour has the potential to be dangerous, as I'm sure you know.![]()
Thanks for the suggestion for the Lupine, Kay and Orangutango! Where can I find them? Is Lupine the brand or the material the collar is made of?
