How worrisome. I know many of us carry a golf club when we walk our dogs around here; for the coyotes. I've seen the coyote, never had a problem with it. My friend with the Akita had 3 surround him and his dog, he used the club to make a 'path' to get away. Dragging his Akita, of course; she thought she could take them ALL on.
