if she'd be willing to use it to have donations sent to her for his ticket.

I spoke to Leslie via pm yesterday and she spoke about "his crate",
so I think it's safe to say she already has one for him.
    1) Yes, Leslie is the one who purchases his ticket just before he gets handed off to board the plane.

    2) Leslie ~ Do you have a PayPal account to use to collect donations?

    3) Leslie ~ did you read the Kennel/Crate section of the web site?
Is "his crate" airline approved and big enough for him and two bowls?

    4) When you're choosing his flight - pay close attention to the routing and number of
intermediate stops - there is NO "direct/non-stop" flight from Wichita Falls to Harrisburg -
the quickest route is a one-stop that has two segments and requires one plane change.
It leaves SPS - Wichita Falls/Sheppard AFB @ 1:43 pm and hops over to DFW - Dallas/FtWorth.
Then a THREE Hour layover at DFW; jump on a larger commuter jet -
and then a driect/non-stop hop up to Harrisburg, PA. Take-off @ 5:25 pm Texas time with
arrival at Harrisburg @ 9:15 pm Eastern time.

(There are other routes that have additional stops & plane changes in New Orleans and
    Chicago/O'Hare - and take over 12 hours. )

If it's any quicker to fly him to Philadelphia, PA, that's actually better. The woman on the phone didn't tell me Philly was available. Wonder if there is less of a lay over??? Where did you figure all that out, Phred??

Philly vrs. Harrisburg isn't much different in a Jet.

WHERE did I figure it out?
On the AA Cargo web site I referenced in the how-to post >>>

https://www.aacargo.com/shipping/schedules.jhtml is a direct link to the Schedules page.
Or from the www.aacargo.com AA Cargo home page, click on the top "Schedules" button.

Once on the Schedules page - scroll down a couple inches to the center section titled
"Priority Parcel Service Flight Schedules" ...
Choose the Starting and Destination city airports from the drop-down lists,
a starting time, am/pm, and tell it to give you 12 flights per page.

You'll get a chart showing each leg of the flight between your chosen cities,
with departure and arrival times. You can calculate layover times.

You should pick a flight pair the allows 1.5 to 2 hours MINIMUM layover to give
the baggage handlers plenty of time to get him moved to his second airplane.
Some of the flight pairs call for less than an hour layover between flights ...
that's too tight a schedule to allow for any delays.

NOTE: "The woman on the phone didn't tell me Philly was available."
    Don't depend on the Agent to make suggestions ... you ASK and they'll answer;
only a few will offer helpful suggestions.

    Repeating an important Question:

    Leslie ~

Do you have a PayPal account to use to collect donations for Woody's Airplane Ticket?

We'll need to know your E-mail address to send money via PayPal.

Yes, my husband does, he said his email address for PayPal is [email protected]

We also have a kennel for Woody. It's kind of big, but we don't have anything smaller I don't think. It's a Sky Kennel, I would imagine it would be fine for airplane travel. I'm sorry I haven't responded sooner. It's really hard sometimes to get computer time.

Jennie has my phone numbers, as does Angie (Pitc9). If you need anything please don't hesitate to call.

    How BIG is "kinda big"?
There may be an upper limit to the size of kennel that will be allowed on the
small commuter jet that flies out of Wichita Falls airport.

Look at THIS web page - it shows all the Sky Kennels and gives their "Airline Size" (100, 200, 400 etc)
and their size in inches. http://www.skykennelsupply.com/skyke...edchart-en.htm
Grab your ruler and measure the length, width, and height of your kennel and compare your measurements to the listed sizes.
What SIZE kennel do you have ??

We'll need to check with AA CARGO to be sure YOUR kennel is allowed on the
Jets Woody will be flying on.
Has your kennel got attachable water and food cups?
Has it got all the required stickers and labels?
And he'll need a soft, absorbant pad to cover the floor with - soft to lay on
and yet able to soak up a pee accident if it happens.

Again - I suggest you read the info on the www.AACARGO.com web site -
that written info is more accurate than the info you'll get from the average Customer Service Rep at the 1-800 number.

    * Go to www.AACARGO.com
    * Click on the "Shipping your Pet / Shipping & Document Requiremnts" link >>
    https://www.aacargo.com/shipping/animals.jhtml
    * Click on "Kennel Guidelines"

Do "we" have a proposed "Fly Date" for Woody?
Remember he'll need a Visit to the Vet to collect his documentation
(see previous posts) and get all his shots.

And don't forget to watch the weather forecasts for the "low temps"
at Wichita Falls, Dallas, and Harrisburg or Philly.

Has Woody been "practicing" in his kennel?
