Sorry to hear about Dexter.
I can't remember the specific names, but there are two kinds of rat poison and one is way more damaging and does cause internal bleeding. From what I can tell the amount of time between when they eat it, and when they are treated makes a BIG difference in their chances of making it. I know that our vets always ask the clients to bring in the exact packaging of whatever poison was eaten so they know how to treat it.Originally Posted by shepgirl
