"We're old here. We're all ready to go," she said. "I think it will be handy."

Now there is a lady with a sense of humor! My aunt just passed away this past summer. She used to always say "I'm ready to meet the Lord. I just hope He isn't quite ready to meet me yet." I do believe most seniors have quite a different attitude toward death.

Coincidentally, about a mile from me there is a funeral home and it sits right next to the senior center! The senior center was there first and, to my knowledge, no one ever complained when the funeral home was being built.

Well I doubt these seniors have the energy for much of a protest.

I understand why some of them would like to sit on the front porch and
