Pet Friendly License Plates!

It has been passed here (1999) but on hold! I would pay that $25 provided it went for the pets!

I have the TN Animal Friendly plates. I believe they are $35 extra and mine are personalized for another $35. $15.38 of the $35.00 additional fee is allocated to the Animal Population Control Endowment Fund. I've had them so long that the orange kitty on it has turned pale. I need to see if I can get another one with the same personalization or if it would be acceptable to paint it.

I am unsure of other states but I do know in Missouri the fee is $25 and $20 of that goes straight toward helping spay and neuter homeless pets. The other $5 obviously goes towards other fees, like making the plate, etc.
