It varies in our household. The cats have their own room that they sleep in at night (husband is allergic) and the dogs are allowed on the bed, but only Chipper seems to take advantage of that. Kia prefers her own bed.

Keep in mind that many pets, numbers-wise, are not dogs or cats. I would be afraid Miss Hoppy would be crushed when I rolled over, and besides, she likes to be hidden under something when she sleeps, so no one can find her.
Our three are allowed on the bed but they rarely sleep on there. They like to hang around on the bed when I'm in my room on the computer. They prefer to sleep in their crates or their own beds.

Our dogs are allowed to sleep on the boys' beds, but not my bed or my parents' bed. It's their rules. Sometimes Astra or Prince like to sneak up onto my bed in the morning though.![]()
