I haven't rode (extensively) since I was on the equestrian team in college... that was in 02! My balance is LONG GONE ( ) so I feel like I'm starting from scratch. I had my mom go out and take pics of me today so I could see exactly what it was I was doing wrong and OH MY GOSH... I look horrid!

Ah well, practice, practice, practice, right?


How does Reno ride? My friend has an arab mare and her trot is sooo friggin' bouncy there's no way to sit it, you have to post!

Once you get the feel of it again you'll feel back to your normal self. When I went to see him for the first time and tack up I forgot how to put a bridle on.

He's sooo smooth to ride I can keep my seat very well.

Oh, and as far as being allergic to the cold, have you tried applying a good moisturizer/sunblock combination before heading out? That would help protect your skin from winter.

No I'm also allergic to most creams, my medicated one has run out.
