I think these are the first pics I've seen of Millie. She is cute. Are they good pets? Do they do anything, do they like to interact with people? I've never heard of them being kept as pets. Definitly not the pet for me, but I can see how you could love her. What do they eat? Sorry for so many questions, you have me interested now!
Feel free to ask away. They are very easy pets. A warm tank with clean dirt, a rock to climb on, and plenty of moisture will do. They don't interact any more than climbing on you. They don't bite. They are very muscular, its like holding a snake. They eat most types of fruits and vegetables. I've been giving her lettuce a lot lately since its easy. They love melons. She also gets crushed cuttlebone for calcium. The one drawback to owning one is that they have little red mites that live on them. The mites are beneficial (they eat the bacteria on the millipede), and they never fall off of her, but they are a little creepy to me. Little bugs like mites make my skin crawl.

She's much smaller around than another I was looking at the other day. This other one was massive. The other was a female as well. Too bad because they are hard to come by and there is concern that the population isn't strong in the wild. A male would have been nice.
