From my experiences, they can have milk present up to about 6-12 days before they deliver, and the same goes for the movement of the pups.
If she is going in to labor, she will be nesting (rooting up blankets, pillows, etc.). She will also be panting A LOT and she will be very restless.
Normal temperature for a dog is 100.2-100.8 degrees. If you can take her temperature, once she is starting to go into labor it should drop to about 98-99.4 degrees. Once you notice the temp drop, she should have the pups within 24 hrs.
Another good sign that she is starting labor is that she will refuse food. Most females won't eat.
