Thanks guys, I feel alot better getting it all off my chest. What a frustrating situation.

Working around 40 dogs a day, you're always going to have something bad happen once in a while. It's just too bad about the poor little dog. But you know, she was an old gal and had a very long life. She was senile and really wasn't all there. I think she is in a better place.
    I've been BOO'd!

I am so sorry you had to experience that. RIP Crystal.

As for the rude lady you know in your heart you did the right thing, the heck with her she doesn't matter.

RIP Crystal. I'm so very glad you were there to help. After 15 years it must be quite hard to come to terms with losing a dog you've taken care of. The rude lady can just take her dog to some other place and see what happens, someplace where the dogs are taken to a back room where you can't see the action. I'm sure her dog bites the groomer anyway .

Thanks everyone. That is a great idea Val, I will definatly send the owner a card. I'm sure she'd appreciate that. Must be hard to lose someone so close to Christmas.

That is so very sad. I'm so glad you were able to be there for Crystal. And yes, if my dog were in either position, I would have wanted you to do exactly what you did. As for that woman, some people always have to find something to complain about. Maybe she'll stop coming there now. I feel so bad for the owner, losing her dog that way and right before Christmas, too. Maybe you could get her a card. If you do, we could leave notes and you could print it out for her.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
