I'm not sure if anyone read this, but she REALLY needs your prayers and thoughts more than ever now.

MaryEllen had a heartattack this morning. She's not doing well at all.

Prayers for all and a special prayer for mary ellen, I lost a dear friend to ovarian cancer and a sister in law.

Did the chemo cause her heart stress?

My father's oncologist and the neurologist who has been overseeing his care believe that his nervous system is compromised and that recovery is not possible. They are not suggesting any treatment options at this point (although we had already ceased diagnostics and treatment earlier). His major organs continue to function well, so he probably has days possibly weeks left until one of them fails.

He is being transferred to Hospice today. They will treat him for comfort first and foremost. We have been waiting for a spot, so this is a blessing.

Please send prayers/good thoughts for peace.

Kater - thank goodness your dad was clear about what he did and didn't want.

I pray that he is kept comfortable and free of pain, and you all have peace at this time.
