Just want to thank all of you for writing. This has been tremendosly hard. Though we tried the tube feedings, antibiotics, and stuck to a regular schedule given by our vet's, and holistic remedies too, Pixie just didn't make it. Her condition was just too advanced and she had given up. This was the hardest thing I have ever had to go through, and I just want to let you know how much your kind words of support has meant to me and Neal. I hope that the research gained by the OVC of Pixie's condition can help save some other sick kitty. The OVC (Ontario Vetrinarian College in Guelph) were truly wonderful to us and I can't thank them enough for those two extra months we got to have with Pixie before she left us. If ever your animal is sick and your in Ontario, I strongly advise you to take your animal there. Though in the end we couldn't correct it - it was not for lack of trying and they are some of the finest veterinarians I have ever seen. Thank you all again for your support, it has been a comfort to me in this trying time. Please pray for my little Pixie, that she will be happy and healthy with all the other special animals in heaven.
