I didn't even know they were siblings (I guess I should have noticed on the tickers at the bottom of your siggy, duh!).

Mocha & Missy were not sibling because I got them from two different sources, but on the same day as fate would have it!!!

Missy was adopted from the local shelter. They told me she was an 8 week old Chihuahua mix.

Later that night, I got Mocha from a boy a few doors down in my old neighborhood. Mocha was given to him as a gift, but his parents didn't want to keep the dog. They found out I just got Missy and came over to tell me that had they known that I wanted a dog they would have been given Mocha to me, and I didn't have to go to the shelter. They brought Mocha over, and they didn't take him back, because I won't let them

Mocha was destined to be mine, and so was Missy.

Everybody told me that they look like they're brother & sister. The only chance for it to be true is Mocha was adopted from the same shelter. Missy has 5 other sibblings, and she was one of the two left when I came, the others had already been adopted.

Wow, they really do look alike. Just one long haired and the other short haired. Their faces are identical in the 2nd and 3rd pic you posted.

Oh well, who cares, right? They ARE siblings now and forever more!

And they even have the baby sister Muffin to complete the clan.

Happy Birthday Missy and Mocha!!! I loved seeing your puppy pictures. You both look sooo cute cuddling together. I think you were meant to be brother and sister from the very start. And I also loved hearing your arrival story, if I had heard it before I didn't remember it. And I have to agree with Cindy, your faces do look alike in the puppy pictures, just different hair lengths.
