Thanks everyone.

Congrats on the new place. Will you have a hallway, or space
to pitch the ball for Bob? I hope you can share pictures once you get
all moved in & settled.

No room inside and the hallway is a very small square. Although I could, in theory, use the small patch of lawn out back he would have to be on a leash and I don't think it would work.
However, there is a park just down the road a little and although he can't go off leash there either a little walk should do us both good. Plus if I can't take him my family have promised to do so.

Congratulations Chris! I'm pleased that you have got it. When are you thinking of moving in?

The plan is for moving in day to be Friday the 7th.

I will take some pictures when I'm in, though I'll not have any internet for a week, perhaps more, but I will post them when I'm connected.

Well, just a couple more days to go. Right now I'm feeling ... scared isn't really the word but it's the best I can come up with, you know that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach, not butterflies, something else? Logic doesn't come into it, I can't reason it away.

Anyhow, the die is cast now so nothing to do but get to the other side and I'll be back to tell you how it all went after I get there. Well, sometime after, depending on when I get the internet back.

A big change in life like this sets off all my antennae at the same time also.

Yes, Liz. I'm doing all the packing and sorting but my son and daughter-in-law are doing the fetching and carrying and will move my stuff Friday. Plus my eldest grandaughter will be in the bungalow to sort things out. Bob, Ebby and myself will be the last to leave.
