If you don't want to eat either tuna or salmon there is a product available for felines that will provide an appropriate level of Omega3 supplmentation. I give a couple of my guys a squirt of this every day and it makes a huge difference in their coats.

Yes, Smudge gets that too - 3V Caps. It's really helped with his skin and fur, and he assures me that it's also quite tasty!

My two are on Omega oil now...but I used to use a dropper bottle and put ONE drop of Canola oil on their food (mix it into the wet). Guess I could have used more.

Their Omega oil is in a pump form...it's for dogs, but with the two of them being larger cats, one pump for them (one dog) is perfect. I smush it up in their wet food, then split the food in half.

I've also heard that tuna is not really great for pets...something about the mercury? Maybe someone else can comment on that.

Yeah, tuna's not great for cats - it sucks essential nutrients out of their systems and can be bad for their livers. A little bit now and then as a treat is OK, but large amounts are a bad idea. Too bad, as it seems to be the only thing no cat can resist!
