She is mad as a box of frogs but there is something about her that I quite like and I don't think old Macca is entirely blameless in all this

As much as I love the Beatles music I think living with Paul would be extremely difficult. Since he has been a teenager Paul has been worshipped and adored. No one ever says NO to him. If anyone has read about him he treated his stepmum and half sister terrribly. They were even homeless. I also think that following in Linda's footsteps was very difficult. I am not saying that Heather did not make mistakes but Sir Paul is used to having his way. It was just a bad match, neither is a bad person, they are just too different.

I feel sorry for Heather. A while back I saw the infamous interview with her on GMTV (I think it was that...), and I felt for her, big time. Seeing your face on the front page every day entitled with 'What a witch, b!tch, etc,' whilst going through something as stressful as a divorce must be awful. She must be pretty tormented to be reduced to tears on TV, I doubt she's that good at acting.

Paul can go anywhere he likes and will be adored, whilst if she steps foot out her house she is subject to abuse. She devoted a heck of a lot of time to charity, and she's seen as the bad person. It's the media whipping up a frenzy as always. The lyrics of Kaiser Chief's 'Angry Mob' song come to mind.

If I had a celebrity lifestyle (how I wish ), I'd demand more money too. I wouldn't let my ex take control like that so that he could finally dispose of me.

Don't always believe what you read.

A lot of times people will twist the truth just to get a good story. In all honesty not many people enjoy reading about happily ever afters and clean divorces in the news.

What about my other 4 senses?

  8. Sorry...this story irritates me. She is married to him (and rather quickly had a baby...) for what..a couple of years? And $50 million is not enough? Did she help him earn that money? If not, why is she entitled to it? And she is angry because she cannot write a tell all book.

She is the kind who gives women a bad name.

And if you don't like the publicity...stay the heck off all the tv shows!! Is there not something...well silly at best...about going on tv shows and complaining about all the media attention???

    Box of frogs indeed!

Being a Beatlephile, I can tell you that Macca's stepmum and stepsister used Paulie's dad to get moola. If they went homeless, they did it to themselves. They lived fine until James McC died. If they had treated his father well while he was ill, do you honestly think Paul wouldn't have helped them...

Unfortunately Paul doesn't pay me to defend him...

I believe Paul's dad and step-mum were married for over 20 years and he was a bit older then her. She nursed him and took care of him and to all written accounts I have read did a fine job. If Paul thought his dad was mistreated he could have hired a private duty nurse to help out. Having them loose the house and being homeless is inexcusable. The man is worth a billion dollars. He treated them badly.
