Idgie does the things expected of a tortishell cat. They classically have what is called attitude or "tortitude" which to some make them unacceptable and to the rest of us tortie lovers very endearing. You either accept a tortie on it's terms and time or not at all. If you can live with it, you've got yourself a great cat. I miss mine a great deal. One of these days when my flock thins down, I might adopt a tortie. I love cats with attitude and personality so torties and Siamese rank high on my love list. Great cat.
