2007 Christmas/Holiday Card Swap... I got some cards!! YAY!!

Almost ready to send all mine out. I am going to send them all at once. I should have them all ready to go by Friday or Monday at the latest.

I also received a couple of PMs about verifying my address. Just in case anyone else wants to be sure it is written exactly as in the list Isabel sent out. It is very similar to as Phred posted but will give an emaple using the one Phred posted for FRANCE.

only difference is the house number goes behind the street address.

ETA: oops forgot to mention...I will be sending pics but I am putting it together as a single picture with all the beasties in one. I will probably post it at a later date when everyone receives. I rather like how it is coming along.

I stopped by the post office this morning between hitting 4 stores for "sales." There was only the supervisor working, and he and I were the only 2 people in the place. SO NICE after all the crowds, every register opened, and lines down to the rear of the store, he hee. I didn't have any trouble finding my car out in the parking lot afterwards, either! So all mine are now on the way to all of you!

My first card arrived this morning from Pat, JoJoe, Star & Jack. Thank you so much I just love it. It has put me right in the holiday spirit.

WOW! I can't believe you got those cards already! I mailed a card to my son in Ohio the day before, and it took longer than that to arrive!

Pat, your card arrived here Friday! And Lut's is here as well.
I have finished about 24 cards today and hope to get them all ready by tomorrow.
It is so great when all these cards arrive- a real Christmas feeling

Glad they have started arriving!

I wanted to get them off early, but I certainly didn't want them to arrive before Thanksgiving.

What is really irritating is that I posted the card to Isabel the day after I received the list and it is obviously still not there.

My cards have been done for over a week lol but I'm not mailing them out until it is at least December 1st

I mailed Isabels card out on Nov. 13th. While at the Post Office, I asked the clerk how long it would take for the card to reach the address~ he took a longer look and told me, ......10 days.......
