It took 3 days, but I got a purr out of him last night, and then again this AM! He's getting a little more settled, thankfully. It was so good to hear that purr and to not see the frustration on his little face (he looked like a little kid who wanted to beat someone up!). He was sleeping in the comfy chair in the library room (without me putting him in there), and he seemed content to be in there and just relaxing. He even had his front paws crossed, and there was a slight smile on his face (at least to me it looked like a smile )

Sigh....

Hoping he'll continue to come around. He's such a sweet and handsome boy... I would hate to think that this will affect him permanently.
