Pedro lad (now, why am I addressing this note to you? You will never read the damn thing, will you? You couldn't care less about a word that I write, could you?) a mere photo of you has captured my heart.

My oldest daughter has asthma. Knowing that she is going to wind up with a house full of cats, anyway, I suggested to her that she make hers a Sphynx household. She rejected the notion, as she did not think she wanted to hang out with bald cats. I will forward this COTD to her, so that she can see how warm and wonderful a bald cat can be.

Of course, she lives in a little cabin in the woods outside of Fairbanks, so there could be some challenges involved with caring for a Sphynx, but the picture ought to serve as some inspiration, anyway, both for her and Slick, the one, short-haired, cat now living with her.
