    Exactly what I was thinking.
You are a wonderful person, please don't forget that! Jasmine will be in my thoughts for a quick recovery.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

How wonderful Jasmine went to a foster mom who took her in for a check right away - and now she is being treated!

Poor kitty likely got a bit dehydrated on the plane - I know I sure do!

Give her some hugs and scritchies from me....SOOO looking forward to pics!

I feel so bad that I didn't take Jasmine from her owner and get her to the vets and get her medical treatment before Tonya sent her on a flight to you.

Your vet sounds like a good vet and I hope Jasmine pulls through just fine.

Thanks all, Steve (Dr Pope) called this am he may release her today, if she begins to eat on her own. So far she isn't.

Melissa, it IS not your fault, I spoke with her owner when she arrived to discuss the cats medical records she chose to decline insulin for her nearlya year ago, her vet records show she had been treated at the vets for diabetes management, it just wasn't kept up at home. Now I am living proof that PT prayers work... Jassy needs them so I ask them from all of you!

Jassy can't lose when we are all in her corner!

    Melissa,

Kym is right, do NOT blame yourself. Kym, if it weren't for you taking Jasmine, she would've died otherwise. So, blame the owner who after years of having this cat KNOWING her life depended upon insulin, decided she didn't want the hassle any longer and pawned her off on someone else. Shame on them.

At least now Jasmine has a chance at a great life, forever how long that may be.

I'm so glad Jasmine is doing better.

How does that previous owner sleep at night? So sad to withhold insulin for over a year. I'm surprised her vet didnt turn her in for animal crulity.

I pray that lady doesnt get anymore animals.
