Thanks everyone! He is such a sweet little boy - quite the cuddle bug. He doesn't like to sleep in his crib or bassinnette, only mommy or daddy's arms. I am amazed at how little sleep I can function on (well...sort of function.... ). He looks so much like Shawn did as a baby - down to the little dimple on his left cheek. I still can't believe he's actually here!

Try the car seat for sleeping. I think that newborns hate being stretched out and laid down in a criband don't sleep because they feel insecure that way. Lydia slept in her carseat for the first month -- i put a thickish blanket over the buckles, and rolled receiving blankets for down her sides. She felt cozy and secure and slept well in the semi reclined position..

Congratulations! He is precious. I agree with whoever said he looks like his daddy. I had the same thought when I saw the picture of the 2 of them.
