    Congratulations! Look at those gorgeous BRIGHT eyes! He looks so much like your husband. It's so wonderful that you'll have your baby in your arms rather in your belly for Thanksgiving.

    Thanks everyone! He is such a sweet little boy - quite the cuddle bug. He doesn't like to sleep in his crib or bassinnette, only mommy or daddy's arms. I am amazed at how little sleep I can function on (well...sort of function.... ). He looks so much like Shawn did as a baby - down to the little dimple on his left cheek. I still can't believe he's actually here!

    Congratulations!!!!! Ty is so beautiful!!!

    Try the car seat for sleeping. I think that newborns hate being stretched out and laid down in a criband don't sleep because they feel insecure that way. Lydia slept in her carseat for the first month -- i put a thickish blanket over the buckles, and rolled receiving blankets for down her sides. She felt cozy and secure and slept well in the semi reclined position..

    Congratulations! He is precious. I agree with whoever said he looks like his daddy. I had the same thought when I saw the picture of the 2 of them.
