    Hoping that Iris gets better.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I'm so sorry to hear this. I'll send out healing vibes that Iris will at least have a level of comfort and I'll send the same out to you, too. Enjoy your time together.
    Blessings,

Can't they amputate? Is there any evidence of metastasis? Tripods usually do VERY well.

Smokey the Elder had cancer in her leg and it was amputated. She did fine as a tripod, and was at least as old as Iris. I hope that Iris feels better.

She will have surgery on Thursday unless they find bad news on the lab reports.

Today's Sir Jury has been Cancelled ...
We went in this morning. Labs were good, but after thinking on it and
re-inspecting the mass, the vet is sure it's cancer.
Iris came home with two weeks worth of prednisone,
and an appointment for two weeks from now to evaluate.

I don't think she'll be with us much longer.
    So Sorry ...

But let's try some PT Purrayers before anything else.

Oh, poor Iris!! How long have you had her?? It hasn't been that long, has it? Prayers going out that she will rest in comfort and feel no pain when and if the time comes. Hope that labs will find that it really isn't cancer, and she will be able to get better.

Big hugs to you and Iris!!

Praying for Iris - that the pred may help and comfort while cancer cells are ruled out or eliminated. Hoping for better news in two weeks!

Oh my, I am so sorry. Many prayers coming from me and the girls in Indiana that the pred works and cancer is ruled out. How is she acting? Still lethargic? Please give her chin scritchies from me. And here's a (((hug))) for you!
