Sorry for the misunderstanding, Catty1. This little sweetie is named Heathcliff. I'm sure everyone agrees this is the best possible argument in favor of microchipping.Originally Posted by Catty1

No harm, LOL. Even though I've lived in New Jersey all my life and am a former high school English teacher, I tend to say that I speak English almost fluently.Originally Posted by Catty1

If I remember correctly, Heathcliff was gone for about 2-3 weeks.Originally Posted by sandragonfly

Here's the latest on Heathcliff. About 3 weeks ago Heathcliff got out and jumped into the back of a U-Haul truck. The folks in the truck had no idea he was in there until they stopped and heard meows. The woman in the truck decided to keep him as a pet but Heathcliff ran away and was found in someone's garage. The home owner found him in her garage and took him to the shelter. At the shelter Heathcliff was scanned, the microchip was found and his New Jersey meowmie was contacted.
Someone offered to drive Heathcliff back to New Jersey so he'll be home with his meowmie and kitty brother this Friday.
Heathcliff, sweetie, don't do this again!!!

What an amazing journey! It always amazes me to hear tales of how far cats are capable of traveling, especially the cats that reunite with their owners that are hundreds of miles away.
stay where ya are, Heathcliff! You might have to walk next time!!![]()
