My Dearest Dog,
This time last year, I was on the floor beside you, trying to take in every moment with you. Knowing the next day I would have to say goodbye. The tears fall now, just as they did then. A part of my heart will always ache from that goodbye. It hurts so much to have the bond weakened. But it will never be broken. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you. I know what Duke meant to you and I know how much you meant to him, I have never seen a bond like the two of you had. Just a little note to say I'm missing you While editing a pic of Dasher and Doogie, tears came from nowhere. I thank you so much for sending me Dasher. After a year, we're finally really settling in. He's such a sweetheart. Do me a favor and tell the angels I need him here on earth for years to come, ok? I hope you get snow for Christmas. I'd love to see you playing in it. I'll love you always.

My heart no longer has a home
Without you it's forced to roam......
We're celebrating Christmas tomorrow evening. It's my second one without you and still so hard. It just doesn't seem Christmas without you. The picture that I have a candle by is so lifelike. I look into your eyes and it seems you know what I'm feeling. Missing you more than usual. Love you always.
