Greetings and happy Cat of the Day to you, sweet Spunky! I have to confess, I think I'm in love! As if your beauty, your sweet and loving personality weren't enough to win my heart, you're a Yankees fan as well! Oh well, maybe next year!

I was so touched by your dear guardian's touching tribute to her/his best buddy! It's heartbreaking when we lose one of our beloved furkids, especially painful when it's one of our firsts, one from our childhood. Yes, you had some mighty big paw prints to fill after the passing of your family's beloved boy Jason. But to use a baseball analogy, you stepped up to the plate and hit one out of the park, Spunky! Jason is most pleased and comforted I'm sure, knowing that his legacy of love lives on in you!
