I tell that to Cassie every day! I tell her I have to leave for work because I'm the one in the family with opposable thumbs, and I just live there so I can feed her and keep the litter pan clean. But she's definitely in charge. When I left her this morning she was sleeping in the bedroom closet (the laundry room on my floor of the building is on the other side of the wall so it's warm in there).
