She's really grown! How old is she now, getting to be a year, right? Anyway, she is really gorgeous.

It's okay Phred! She's not missing OUT of her cage. She's been curled up deep inside her hide box. Sometimes she buries herself under the Aspen shavings and all you see is just a small part of her. Her cage is lockable so she's not escaping anytime soon.![]()
Suki, she's a year and 5 months.![]()

cool pictures, lucy's a perfect decoration. and you caught her tongue!
kim, I'm surprised you say she's a creamscile because shouldn't she be lighter - orange instead of red and creme instead of orange? I swear she looks like my albino cornboy. he is gone now.![]()
rest and sleep softly sweet locke..

Lucy was bred by Kathy Love who wrote the book on corn snakes, literally. She's definitely a creamsicle.
Creamsicles are hybrids between an albino Corn Snake and an emory's rat snake/common corn cross. These snakes bring out the yellow and downplay the reds of the Corn Snake. Most are varying shades of yellow with darker yellow to orangish blotches. Clutches are generally smaller in number but produce larger more vigorous hatchlings. Creamsicle with less emory background and increased amelanistic corn generally have lighter backgrounds and red to orange saddles(red creamsicle).
She's still growing and may yet get lighter but we're hoping she keeps the red.
I'm very sorry about your loss.![]()

yeah, probably she's still growing - makes sense. just that I went to reptile store the other day, saw one creamsicle about the same size as lucy and it was very creme. again, pictures don't really do the justice.
thank you.
