That's amazing news Pat, Pauline and the family continue in my prayers, as well as the donor's family. What an amazing thing that a donor can give life to another person. Every time I hear or read about it, even in typing a medical report for my job, it seems so miraculous.
Melissa has been released from the hospital, her MRI and other tests were normal. It was determined she did indeed overload on fluids. The thing about it that upsets the family is originally after she felt sick and they took her to the Medic tent, they just assumed she wasn't feeling well because she hadn't been getting enough fluids, and so they pushed her to drink MORE until she had a seizure and went into a comatose type state. They could very well have caused her death by what they did. Water toxicity is nothing to fool around with. Thank God she made it through.
I'm saying a prayer now for all those in need who have posted all those who have not, who are suffering in any way.
