I am so sorry to hear about Josh.He was adorable.
We lost our cat Stuie about a year ago while we still miss him everyday as others have said the good memories take over for your sad feelings now.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I went through this in March with my boy El, who I had for seventeen years. It does get easier, but I don't think it will ever get better. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
