Actually, I just remembered that his fur is bi-coloured - grey/blue on the top and white underneath. If you shaved him, he'd be white!
That also accounts for some scruffiness.
He is SO sweet. The first day I met him, I picked him up and got purred at!

Do you think he's mixed with Himy or something?? He's got the points and the tipping of the fur going on. What a beauty he is!!! Or what is that other one... um.... oh, they call a Smoke or something like that with coloring that way.
Whatever he is, he's just gorgeous! Big kissies and snuggles to Ambrose!

Yes, he does look like he's part Maine Coon. My Pidge is the same way, looking quite scruffy. Of course, she detests being groomed now that she's older so maybe Ambrose is the same way. He sure is a pretty boy, big paws, too, like Pidge.

He sure is handsome and I bet that his fur is very soft.Like Jenn said, he looks like he's part Himalayan.
