Your puppy is barking because barking gets things to happen!

There comes a time in a pups life when it has to learn to take it's place. This is difficult and the quicker the better for the pup....do you want a pup that settles to sleep quickly and gets good rest or do you want a pup that never has a night's sleep because it knows that if it creates enough noise it will have a get some company?
The pup that sleeps learns to trust the leader - the leader is trustworthy and capable, this pup feels safe and is secure and confident.
The pup that gets the company learns that the leader is also afraid of the dark, has no confidence that they can keep the pup safe and is relying on the "puppy" to make it feel better. The pup then becomes less confident in the leader of it's new pack...........
