Same from me here in RI. Have a nice juicy carrot sweetie! (No, Karen, I meant Miss Hoppy!)Originally Posted by cassiesmom

No worries, Freedom - I am allergic to carrots, so Miss Hoppy gets to eat all the carrots I buy all herself.
I took her out for some fresh air today after her (hated) antibiotics, and two of the kids next door were just getting home, and Asia and Windsor came running over to pat her, and brought the mom and baby who were with them over. Asia said the baby "is just a year old," and she wasn't sure about petting Miss Hoppy, though Asia and Windsor were showing her - and her mommy - how, so I then picked Miss Hoppy up level with baby and her mom ran her hand along Miss Hoppy's back and she was delighted. So Asia and Windsor were very happy and Miss Hoppy liked being petted, and baby even waved bye-bye to us when we parted company!
Being petted by the children is MUCH more fun than taking her medicine! And my arm was mostly covering her "naked" spot, so she didn't mind at all.
What a good girl Miss Hoppy is. I am glad that her treatment is finished and she is happy receiving attention from her fans.![]()
Glad that Miss Hoppy is doing better and is through with the treatments.

All things work together for good to them that love God.

I've been defrosted-- Thanks, Sana
Karen, I'm just now seeing this but I'm so glad that Miss Hoppy is finished with her treatments and doing so well.

Thanks everyone. She is feeling better enough that it is getting more difficult to give her her antibiotics - she really HATES them, and will quickly move her head as the syringe approaches it. It is good that Paul is a very patient person, as I hold Miss Hoppy while he administers the dreaded icky stuff. Thankfully, these are a once-a-day kind.
Now, Miss Hoppy you take your medicine like a good girl. So glad you are better![]()
