Audrey, I am so sorry about your grandfather's illness. And I'm sorry that you don't "know" him as you should. I would give anything for a little more time with both of mine. One (my mother's dad) died when I was 5 years old. I remember him, but not well. My father's dad was more a part of my life and was so special to me.

I will have you and your mother in my prayers.

Yeah I would have liked to get to know him better. 2 of my other grandparents died before I was born, and my grandmother was sick when I was old enough to remember things but I was close with her. You all are so kind to take the time to wish us well. I will pass this along to my mom when she is home. I know she'll appreciate it.
