He was so cute. It looks like he's a dutch; I have a 3 y/o dutch rabbit.

Thanks guys - he certainly was an adorable little bunny.
I took the dogs out for a long walk last night while hubby buried Duncan. He wrapped him in my old t-shirt that he had been using as a "blankie", put a few of his toys in with him and picked him some dandelion leaves for the journey. His hutch is standing clean and horribly empty in the garden![]()

Thank you all once again.
I have decided to offer Duncan's hutch and bits and pieces to the local rabbit rescue. My initial thought was to give it to my neighbours but to be honest it would break my heart to see their rabbits still being neglected despite giving them everything they need (except competent owners!!!)
I did have a friendly word to try to point them in the right direction but as far as I can see they have done diddly-squat![]()
When I speak to the rescue people I will ask them to have a look next door when they collect my stuff (I may suggest they "accidently" knock on their door by mistake.....)

That is a brilliant idea, Denise!

The lady from Rabbit Rescue is coming to get Duncan's hutch and things this evening
Later that evening...
Her husband came to collect the hutch and I am so glad that Duncan's things are going to be put to such good use. I think Dunc would approve
