EEEK! "New U.S. airport scanner sees through clothes"

The person who is looking at the scan is remote from the screening area. Your face is blurred. How different is it from going to a doctor? After you have seen 10,000 naked bodies....we are all pretty much the same under our clothes.

I do not believe scanning is terrible effective, but I also don't think this is an invasion of my privacy.

The device can tell if a traveler is a problem...
It does show people with their undies in a wad!

This was also a prob with certain vid cameras. There was a feature that made some materials see-thru.

This also can happen with regular photography too. A friend at work had a picture of her and her daughter at a graduation on her desk.

I had to pick it up and look at it closely to make sure I was seeing what I saw!
