DO NOT BUY ANY OF THE PREPPED FROZEN MEALS.
I made one once.......I took two bites of it and tried to give the rest to the dogs.
They would not touch it. It's one of those things that make me want to toss my cookies just thinking about it.

Hmm, AmberLee, I think I may have to try that one. I have a Fix-It and Forget It Cookbook, and try to find one new crockpot recipe every month. Here is one of my favorites from the book.
Chicken Parmigiana
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 cup Italian bread crumbs
2 Tablespoons butter
14 oz jar of pizza sauce
6 slices mozzeralla cheese
grated parmesan cheese
Beat egg and seasonings together, dip chicken to coat, and then coat in bread crumbs. Saute chicken in butter.
Put pizza sauce in slow cooker, pour pizza sauce over chicken, and cook 6-8 hours on low. Layer mozzarella cheese over top and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Cook an additional 15 minutes.
That same book also have a fabulous Sweet and Sour Pork recipe. I have really been enjoying this book.
Yum, some of these really sound GREAT!

I"VE BEEN FROSTED
This is what I cooked tonight.....
Brown 1 cut up chicken and set aside.
In the bottom of the crock pot put in
3 or 4 quartered potatoes (I used the red-skinned ones and left the skin on)
top with a layer of sliced onion
top with the browned chicken pieces
Mix the following together and pour over the chicken:
1 can of coconut milk
3/4 cup chicken broth
1 tsp hot sauce
1 1/2 tsp curry
fennel
cumin
coriander
ground ginger
ground cloves
(not sure how much of the above I added...1/2 tsp I suppose)
Cook on low for 8 hours.
I'm going to serve it with brown rice and I using some liquid from the crock for the rice. I debated cooking the rice because there are potatoes in the crock but what else will I do with all sauce???![]()
It won't be ready for another hour and it smells divine. I'll give you a rating later.
Dorothy: I absolutely have to try that one. Thanks.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
