I am so sorry.I hope Giselle will be okay and that your parents understand that dog and human aggression are two different things.

"To all the dogs I've loved before...Who traveled in & out my door...I'm glad you came along...I dedicate this song to all the dogs I've loved before"
Poor Gissie. That looks awful. I hope she heals well and makes a quick recovery!
I also hope your parents understand that Ivy won't suddenly be aggressive toward people just because of this incident. As others have said, and as you know, dogs can sometimes just react that way in certain situations.
Oh my goodness.Poor Gissie. Sending more good thoughts your way.

"So baby take a axe to your makeup kit
Set ablaze the billboards and their advertisements
Love with all your hearts and never forget
How good it feels to be alive
And strive for your desire"

Wow, that's much worse than I thought from your description. Poor poor Giselle, she is such a sweet girl.
I hope there are no more incidents with Ivy. That's just plain nasty-looking.
I have to say that is much worse than I thought it would be. Poor Giselle, I hope she heals quickly. Does she act afraid around Ivy now?
"That they may have a little peace, even the best
dogs are compelled to snarl occasionally."
