Fritz resting on the kitchen floor in the cottage,Taffy curled up on the couch,Fritz Marlene on the other couch,Fritz showing off a new scarf Marlene gave him for Halloween,Taffy napping on the other end of the couch,head on pillow,Fritz snoozing on the couch,Fritz flipped over on the couch.Had a good time at the cottage,the only nice day was Friday when we arrived,Saturday it rained on and off was 72 ,cool Sunday and 62,was clody ther this morning and already 63,,was in the 80's when we arrived home today,the warmest Thanksgiving in 10 years.Fritz behaved pretty well,each day until yesterday,peed and did the other in the cottage,he watch Marlene anytime she was getting food ready for a meal,Larry would get Taffy Beggin Strips,Fritz would want some,Larry sets it on the table,he smells it and wants more.They would get put in a cupboard,Fritz would smell them and growl for more.Whe he went out,Fritz went up the steps to do what he had to and would sit up ther until called back.Friends of Larry and Marlene from Oshawa ten miles west of here have a cottage close to them and htye have a Golden retriver Murphy,they came over Saturday,Murphy checked Fritz out Fritz didn't like and barked at Murphy,Murphy seemed to like Fritz.Fritz slept with Mom,she had his small leash on him in case he tried to leave,he was quiet every night.I babysat the dogs while they all went on a studio tour, people did pottery,jewelry,all kinds of crafts,Mom enjoyed it,Larry would take her anywhere she wanted.We all went out for Chinese food on Saturday, Fritz and Taffy stayed in the van and were quiet.Our Van was totally packed with our clothes ,Marlene and Larry's plus Taffy and Fritz,Fritz rode on my lap for the 2 hours,stopped at a Tim Horton's for lunch,they stayed in the truck while we went in.Had our Thanksgiving dinner last night,Larry and Marlene's friends Rick and Cheryl were there.We had a Capon,in between a Turkey and a Chicken,Turnip,Dessing,Coleslaw,Carrots,Ham,Cranbe rries, Pickles and Buns.Dessert was either Pumpkin Pie,Ice Cream or Apple Pie.Fritz had some Turkey.Taffy and Fritz were fine with each other,they leave the other alone.Fritz slept on the back seat on the way home,is sleeping right now

Fritz sitting on the front step this afternoon.This morning came out and had my cereal,wouldn't touch my toast until he had mom's had that,was outside and came back in.Spent some time on the bed when Mom went on meals on wheels,in the window when i went to my Uncle's to get their TV remote going.He had some of my soup for lunch,we had leftovers from Thanksgiving,cleaned off my plate and mom's and our plates we had Pumpkin Pie on.Mom has gone to a fashion show tonight,Fritz on her bed waiitng.Tomorrow,Mom has a job working as a District returning Officer for for our Provincial election here,gets paid,not sure how much.cassiesmom,geraniums are doing fine, it was in the 80's yesterday,today mid 60's,rest of the week in the low to mid 50's,maybe a shower tomorrow,rain on Thursday.
Fritz on a wander out front yesterday and this morning.Yesterday,he did a lot of snoozing,Mom was gone all day working on Election Day here and i was in and out cutting grass.Fritz was either in the window or Mom 's bed snoozing unless I had something to eat,A Tuna Sandwich for lunch and Chicken and Roast Potato TV dinner for supper.After super,went and grabbed his Monkey and had a play with me.After this,he was looking out the window or in the bedroom,never came down to me,would bark at any noise .It was around quarter after 11 when Mom came out,Fritz didn't come out right away. When it was time to bed he was looking at Mom,wanted to go to sleep.It was after 7 when he got up,had his cereal and toast,went out front ,came back in and was barking at kids outside.now snoozing,curled up on Mom's bed.I have to do Marlene's lawn today,thast's it for the week,the Aunties are coming tomorrow,staying until Saturday for the Apple Fest.Fritz doesn't know yet,big suprise,may tell him tomorrow.
Fritz and Mom having a relaxing rest on the couch.She called me to see this,i had to change the channel on the TV so wouldn't disturb Fritz.Fritz is down here with me tonight,Mom has some ladies from her church group over,Fritz gets a little carried away when new people come in the house.He is sitting looking up the stairs,he can't go up.Fritz had been outside,listening,he knew something was up.I had to vacuum the carpet upstairs,he knew what i was up,he moved out to the kitchen where he would be safe from me vaccuuming .
