Yes back at the end of Oct. last year. We actually trapped her quickly within about 30 minutes of trying but then Decker got wise and we weren't able to trap him until the next day.Originally Posted by Catty1
I took her in to be spayed and vaccinated. The vet agreed she was a little too feral so any hopes of getting her into a rescue was shot. We ended up releasing her in our backyard in hopes she would stay but she shot out of the carrier, over the fence into the woods. We didn't see her again until this March and April and a neighbor said he was even able to pet her once while feeding her. I guess spaying helped to tame her a little. I haven't seen her since spring and I pray she is okay. I did the best I could for her. Only the animal control/kill shelter would accept her and they told me they would just put her down immediately since she wasn't tame.
Here's a few pictures I got of her in March when she showed up a few times. She went from thin and scrawny to healthy and beautiful.
