I thought it would sound confusing. It's hard when you can't use names.

I was thinking the same, but what if I like both horses?
I'll see the barn owner's friends horse first so I guess see where to go after I try him out.

If you go out and try both horses and really like both horses, then I would say the ten year old, just because you will have more time to ride and jump him (if you want to jump him) then the 18 year old. But you may find the 10 yr old to be horrible and fall in love with the 18 year old.

Plus, I'd like to see some PICTURES! hahahhahaa :]

I agree with the poster who said take the people out of the picture. Find the horse that best fits for you, since you have to have a good relationship. The rest will work itself out.

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

I'll try and type it out easier.
I'm looking mostly for a good trail horse who is road safe and also kid safe.
But I do like jumping and I mostly canter.

    Person A
    -lives a hour away
    -don't know her
-has both 18 yr ols mare and 10 yr old gelding (both Thouroughbreds)
-I would like to look at to 10 yr old
    - I asked her to hold him until spring (or sooner) and she said yes.
-10 yr old did dressage, hunter jumper, trail and road safe.

    Person B
-A friend of my barn owners
-Her horse is currently being leased out to a schooling barn
-She can't afford both her horses but couldn't find a good home for him
-I don't know if my barn owner is letting me use a stall because I would be getting her friends horse
    -He's a very good horse w/t/c/ jumps

I think I'll do what others have said and just see what one is for me.
I'll see person B's horse first (his name is Poppy). I'll try and get some pictures but can't garuntee anything.
I'm still working on getting the other horses pictures up, they won't upload on photobucket.

EDIT: Here's person A's 10 yr old gelding. She didn't give me the greatest pictures, they have their fly masks on.

Hmm I can't really say I know too much about horses but that 10 year old sounds like he's a great boy! Good luck.

He's a nice looking boy, I don't see anything physically wrong with him in that picture. He's definitely worth taking a look at if Poppy doesn't work out or you dont feel he's a good fit for you.

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!
