I'd rather have them on our boat
Here we have Canada geese and their s...t is very sticky

I'd rather put up with / clean off "sticky bird pooh" than discover the
Fat Lions had totally *trashed* my boat!

The two on the near boat have knocked the mast off it storage location; trashed railings;
possibly set it adrift; and may yet cave in the hatch and wander inside!
A few sea lions have been known to either sink or Totally Trash some very nice boats.

There's lots of articles and photos on the net describing the grief those Lion Guys cause
every year when they migrate into marinas and decide to "go boating".

Oh they had just gotten on that boat! I think the damage was from the party (sea lion) the night before!

They are cute but when the desires of the sea lions collide with the desires of the boaters and fisherpersons....well...

I think it may need quite a bit of climate change until we have sea lions on our mountain lakes
