Sorry about the size here, everyone - I still haven't mastered the nuances of Photobucket. I had started taking off the linens to throw in the laundry when she hopped up on the bed - I just worked around her, and then picked her up, took the sheets out from underneath her, and put her back down. When I was done, she settled herself right on the mattress pad as you see here. This is her "Mom, you are bothering me" face.

Eddie is the same way....Sara - what's your secret to keeping the hats on Ms. Edwina? Mitzi had hers off in a yocto-second!with Edwina she is just more tolerant...but there is also timing.....I wait until she is very relaxed...when moving is more effort than she would want to expend...
