Rachel's idea of a book is a brilliant one and it's encouraging to hear they have taken your suggestions on board so far. Why not ask the neighbour over for a cup of coffee and ask her where she got the dog as it's so beautiful and then say that you are suprised they weren't given the basic information with the dog.
