Did you return to feeding your cats their old food all at once, or did you gradually reintroduce them it the old food??? Maybe if things happened too quickly, that could be the reason for the loose bm's...just a thought...

Nine is Fine!!
Just work up gradually to the full feeding of dry. Baby food kept them going, but the cat food will give them energy.
You might want to get some A/D food - it is for post-surgical cats, and has TONS of good extra nutrients in it. Vets have it...or you can try a good kitten food.

I have been giving them small amounts. I am just concerned that they seem so blah if that makes any sense. I would think that with all the nutrients that cat food has that my fur babies would be more energetic. They seemed more energetic on the baby food.

Maybe 'baby cat', ie, kitten food would be worth a try. They might need extra calories and nutrients after their recovery.
A phone call to the vet on this couldn't hurt.

Back in June I was having problems with Ripley having very loose stools/diarrhea and vomiting. The vet told me to try Purina Pro Plan for Sensitive Skin and Stomach. She said that Purina never had a recall and is about the only brand she totally trusts now. I started him on it immediately and within 2-3 days he was 100% better. As long as he eats that food and nothing else (meaning no treats and none of the other cat's food) he has no issues. All it takes is one bite of something else and he throws up.
I have to say that for the past three months it's been a miracle food! I pray it continues.
Also, I've been switching my other cats to the Pro Plan foods. I'm still feeding them Nutro Complete Care Weight Management (for those who need it) but I also feed Pro Plan Chicken and Rice Adult. Seems to be agreeing with everyone but Scout prefers Nutro. I think that is because of the size of the food. She has a hard time picking up the smaller Pro Plan pieces.
